About SAPD
The San Andreas Police Department is an official law group on the CIT server in Multi Theft Auto. It was formed in September 2011 around the Police Chief system CIT had just added. Officers answer backup calls, chase wanted criminals, run trainings and help new players find their feet.
Most of the work is routine, and it is logged either way. Every patrol and training is filed as a report on this site, and the roster is synced from the CIT forum every hour.

Highest first. The code is what goes at the front of your in-game name.

Unit numbers
Your police unit number (PUN) sits in your in-game name and identifies you on the radio. You can change it once every two weeks.
RNK-Nick|XX[SAPD], for example SST-Swiffty|27[SAPD] is unit 27.

Promotion tests
Two promotions need a test. When you request one, the site checks your days and activity for you. Trainers record attendance and results on your member profile.

Patrols and trainings
Members host patrols and training sessions, and members of other law groups can take part. After each session the host files a report on the Reports tab with who attended, how they did and any notes. Those reports are what the Activity tab and the Dashboard count.
Joining
You can apply with a CIT account. You do not need to know a member first. Applications are checked against the current recruitment requirements.
What you need
- Your CIT account name and MTA serial.
- Links to your stats, punishlog, MyHistory and CIT forum profile.
- A Discord account in the SAPD server.
- Your own written answers to the application questions.
How it is reviewed
Applicants who are blacklisted, or banned or muted on the forum, are turned down. Copied applications are denied.
Applications are posted to leadership and the forum recruitment thread. SAPD Eye badge holders and DCMD+ officers review and vote. The decision and the reason are sent to you by Discord direct message. Keep your application number to check its status.
